About Me
I am a wife to my best friend Nicco. We have two beautiful kids, Noelle (7) and Nolan (2). Yup! were the cheesy "N" family! I totally love it though! My family is everything to me; after Jesus of course. He is my numero uno! He is my Lord and Savior. I am so grateful to know Him and to have Him in my life. I don't know where I would be without Him; and I don't want to know. I gave my life to Christ 14 years ago and my life has never been the same!
Nicco and I have been married 11 beautiful years. We live in Spring, Texas; a suburb of Houston. I work part time from home for a computer software company. I enjoy volunteering at my church and at Care Net Pregnancy Center of Northwest Houston. I am an avid runner. I like it, because it's my "me" time. I can think, listen to music, pray, relieve stress, plan out my next blog post, enjoy nature, and it means I can indulge in something yummy. I fancy decorating and fashion. I also enjoy gardening when the weather is nice, which is almost never in Houston. I enjoy Christian literature. Right now I'm reading "Surprised by the Voice of God, How God Speaks Today Through Prophecies, Dreams, and Visions" by Jack Deere. I highly recommend it. My hubby is in seminary and it is a required reading for him. He asked me to read the last chapter because it has a really powerful testimony. The testimony was so impactful that I decided to go back and read the whole book. I especially appreciate a good strong coffee in the morning. I love being a mom. It is my greatest joy in life. I get such a thrill from seeing my babies grow and seeing their little personalities, which aren't always so little. I am constantly amazed by the things that come out of my daughters mouth. How she knows scripture and is able to apply it at her young age blows my mind. I treasure our prayer time together. Her prayers are such a neat reflection of her heart. She is always so thankful to God. I love to see the way she loves her little brother too. And my son, well he can be summed up in one word- delicious. His chubby little cheeks are the best. I just eat him up and I can never get enough. I love to be the recipient of his slobbery wet kisses and to hear him giggle. I also cherish listening to him sing in the car to the radio even though he can't talk yet. I am so blessed to be their mommy.
